To anyone who watches this: A DOG DIES: PREPARE TO CRY. Seriously though, it's a beautiful story. Dogs are amazing companions, and truly, our species barely deserves such a gracious gift from Nature.

Rob - I'm pleased to be receiving two weeks of Soylent in February, and here's my question: what is your answer to those folks who vociferously and generally protest even the idea that someone could subsist on Soylent, and specifically those who believe that there are hundreds or thousands of 'phytonutrients' - known and unknown - that Soylent consumers would miss out on, and presumably then be subject to malnutrition or increased risks of various diseases?

What sort of changes did you make in your daily life with a dog present? By that, I'm thinking specifically of the logistics of dog ownership, and how you preserved your dog's mental health if/when you were away at work over long periods of time. I'm always concerned about the well-being of a dog that is home along during most of the day, especially since I live in an apartment, but would LOVE a dog. Also, how much money do you now budget per month for dog-related expenses?

My question to you, Mr. Finkelstein: what do you feel that Israel owes to the Palestinian people, and how can this debt be paid in a realistic fashion? Further, how could Israel ever choose to tolerate, rather than be extremely defensive and aggressive, neighbors with individuals and organizations that have devoted themselves to the nation's destruction?
