It is not reasonable to expect every driver (any driver) to allow for the possibility of a 150mph Merc to materialize suddenly when you're changing lanes. And your high performance car and your own driving skill won't prevent an accident because they could pull out just in front as you pass. The result at that speed would be mayhem and the soccer mom didn't ask to participate.
