As a fellow writer, I'd suggest taking the initiative (if you really want the story) and give him a few options for times and dates. Or offer the option to send over a list of questions beforehand given the subject's age. People don't always go for setting up your interview themselves. Just a suggestion. Seriously not trying to be a dick!

I was in college 2005-2009. I wasn't an idiot, I was immature and uneducated about finance, and I did fully and completely trust my parents without reservation when they told me they knew how to handle applying for college. I love them so much but man, if this doesn't frustrate me on a daily basis.

Dude just hates Dysons. Idk man, I get that there are far superior vacuums out there, but we've had a dyson we bought at Target for a few years now, and it still cleans really well. I'm not unhappy with it at all. So maybe I paid too much, or maybe something else would clean better? But I haven't felt unhappy with my vacuum situation any time I've cleaned my house. The way this dude talks, I should be throwing it off a cliff, running down to the smashed remains, burning it, and scattering the ashes into a volcano with wild abandon while screaming "Dysons are the fucking wooooooooooooooorst!!!!!!"

It's like, dude, they're not THAT bad.

I definitely get what you're saying. For a busy professional with a full schedule who is aware of their limited free moments, I would definitely agree. But for someone like this guy, it may just be overwhelming to him to have to figure it out himself. But hey, to each their own process! Best of luck with the interview - I would love to read it if you wouldn't mind sharing the link here or on Reddit when you're done!

He literally has a tattoo of Bernie Sanders on his arm...so I'm betting Bernie.
