As another CFer, I honestly had the most issues with residents. Most of them are pretty cool, but a lot of them have a tendency to assume they know better than the patient. This might be true in a lot of other cases, but with the majority of CFer we know what we're taking about and when a CF patient gives the low-down on their usual hospital routine and what IVs they're usually on don't act like we don't know what we're talking about.

Also, another pet peeve of mine is when (usually they're new) nurses/techs think that CF is a good small talk topic. I don't mind answering questions, but I'm sure most of us would rather you ask about our life outside of CF. Especially when we're in the hospital and dealing with it anyways. Believe it or not, we do have other hobbies besides CF:P

23 year old Cyster. Naps are my best friend. I seriously try to plan my class schedule around being able to take a nap between class and the days I work.

The Chick-Fil-A in our parking lot has been known to run employees' food over when they're busy so we don't have to waste our breaks. They're the real MVPs.
