What quality control do you do? I'm guessing you have to be fairly careful about the pH of the final product.

What base do you react with? I'm guessing KOH, but I don't know about soaps for using on people.

As an industry insider, can you tell me if that "confessions of.." documentary, I saw on Channel five, was an accurate portrayal of the madcap and zany adventures of your average everyday window cleaner?

Ok thanks, So you'd expect the product to be slightly acidic. I'm guessing this would be well away from a pH that might cause dermatitis problems?

I'm fairly sure that just got edited in, i made the asumption based on the reaction having an excess of acid.

I mentioned it because anything above pH 10 can cause dermatitis, I wouldn't think ~9 would be a problem.
