Definitely wear sunscreen. Just has a pre cancerous cell frozen off the tip of my nose yesterday. I look like a leper but hey, no cancer.

In other words, "man up" and buy some Night/Day Quill.

However, shouldn't at least half the blame be put on the physicians prescribing antibiotics to people just to shut them up? I know that happens all the time.

Some crazy/bitchy parent pleads for antibiotics for their child and the doctor just signs off on it. Even though the doctor tells them, it's a virus.

I agree with every bit of this. My son was born 10 weeks early and had to live the first month and a half of his life in the NICU under constant care. So trust me, I don't resent my children at all. All that happened 10 years ago and I still remember it all like it was yesterday.

But god damn it if he doesn't try to constantly push his boundaries and test me all the time!! I always try a reasonable approach to dealing with his behavior when he acts out. Sometimes it works and other times, there just isn't anything I can do to get through to him in a calm manner.

Children are not adults and can't always reason like an adult. They eventually find their way and while I'm there to help him get there, that job is definitely not an easy one a lot of the times.

And trust me, I understand there are parents who are just human pieces of shit and have no business ever having a child in their care. I'm not one of them. But there are times when I just sit in a chair after going back and forth with my 10 year old and just stare into space in bewilderment of what he and I just went through.

I'm in the same boat as you. My mother never got us flu shots (had all other vaccinations though).

And to this day (34 years old), I still have never had one. Could I have had the flu at some point? Sure, I guess? The degree of the flu effects can have a multitude of range.

My son had the flu last year (took a nose swab at the doctors office to confirm) and he didn't get any worse than a fever of a little over 100 and a runny nose.

Mind you, he had a flu shot. The flu shot doesn't guarantee you won't get the flu.

Yeah, you guys have a high rate over there thats for sure. My fair skinned ass wouldn't stand a chance. Especially with my family history of basal cell issues.
