This is a bit dreary question, but how likely do you think people in Seattle/Portland/etc. are to actually pay attention to the data and start preparing for potential earthquakes?

You touched on this a bit on the FB group but what was it like for you mentally to shoot the thing Jojo?

Thanks for the response! As a sorta odd follow-up why did it take this study for people to notice that the northwest coast was at risk for a massive quake? Shouldn't anyone with a rudimentary understanding of plate tectonics realize that anywhere along the Ring of Fire is at risk?
