So can you enlighten me on the takate kote, or as I'm told in the western world is referred to as a box tie? It's one of my favorites, especially when used for breast bondage.

Specifically, this form that's used on Sharon Engert when she appeared on insex. I've seen similar ties where the arms are folded at the small of the back, though every tutorial I've seen does not have the ropes going beneath the armpit and up and over behind the neck. I've seen one form that does, but it involves the elbows and wrists tied together and straight behind, whereas you can clearly see that Sharon's elbows are folded behind her. Is this a different tie, a hybrid of the two, or what? It's a popular tie you see all the time on kink.com and other western sites.

I don't have a great track record with Fetlife, and that's mostly due to an extremely aggressive local community with the mantra 'if you're not one of us, you're an ax murderer. Also, you can't be a switch.' At this point in my life, BDSM and bondage isn't something I just want to go out and do with a bunch of people, even if they are friends; it's something I want to do and explore with someone closer.
