The hard part is getting enough credit to do that... If you're just out of college and in huge enough debt to consider a scheme like this, you likely can't secure enough credit to actually do it.

Isn’t that all cosmetic surgery, as well as countless hair and makeup products, salons, clothing, etc? I can see that this isn’t the same as getting highlights in your hair, but there are countless business that do the same thing.

Let's say an offer letter for a job is given, and signed by both parties (new employer and new employee), and the employee quits his old job in anticipation of starting the new one.

Does the employee have any recourse if the job offer is rescinded before the starting date?
