My ideal for an Unnecessary Invention would be a belt with fake hands sticking out of it, so my three kids can all hold “my” hands while I also push a full grocery cart. I submitted this to you and sadly but not unsurprisingly got no response. So, honest answer, how bad of an idea is it?

(I like your stuff. Most of it. Some is just weird.)

Redditors, you are toxic beyond belief. At some point it goes beyond a joke or a meme and causes real harm to real people. It has gone far, far beyond that here.

Carol - As someone who hasn’t seen the TV shows, what’s your opinion on how zoos or sanctuaries can best show exotic animals to the public without causing them stress or placing them in unnatural habitats, while still gaining the interest of the public? Even the nicest zoos have animals in cages. Should we forgo public viewings in the best interests of the animals?

Could you train a random shelter mutt (pitbull + chow + lab for example) to do the same job with similar results? I'm one of the few people who advocate for reputable dog breeders whenever I see people on the /Aww sub who say "Adopt don't shop, ever" and "All breeders should be shut down and fined/murdered/tarred and feathered." It gets a bit old sometime. I appreciate the sentiment but I fully believe that some breeders are there to improve the breeds and continue good bloodlines and it wouldn't be the same without that. Sheepdogs, rescue dogs, hunting, tracking, sled, etc etc.
