What disability culture are you connected with? I spent years with MOUTH magazine, Ragged Edge, Callaghan and New Mobility. They are dropping like flies. What's new, do you read if anything?

LOL, MOUTH, and Ragged Edge and Callaghan were never about advances in SCI. they were about humor in the face of oppression and the gauntlet that can be living everyday with nondisabled folks who can be pretty wacky about disability. http:/www.mouthmag.com and http://ragged-edge-mag.com/
try them out for fun. Studies reveal an average increase in lifespan of 15 years for disability activists/advocates. Enjoy!

OMG! We have been trying to pass a bill to keep students safe by outlawing aversive interventions (abuse) and seclusion and limiting the use of restraints in schools. Mostly these arcane detrimental approaches are used on the most vulnerable students with disabilities and according to the 2009 GAO report thousands of injuries occur each year and resulted in 20 deaths of children between 1999 and 2009. Would we be able to use this technology to help push our bill through? Do you have to have facebook or any other social media to use it?

OK, the bill is S2036. I missed the motion part. OK Found it. It appears I can't share it without google plus, is that right? I'm screwed. Life is too busy and complicated already without all the entanglements of twitter, facebook, etc. Google's last changes (separating my emails into bullshit piles when they have no effing idea who I am) already cost me hours of time to fix. I am in the midst of litigation and community organizing and negotiations for children. I need it to be simpler! Is there anyway to just let me share through regular google?

So, are you a member of Mind Freedom International? And how do you feel about the shift (finally) in mental health from asking "What's wrong with you?" to asking "what happened to you?"
