Do you have breast implants?

pumpkinspicebread36 karma

I do not have breast implants. They are a natural 34DD. I hit puberty in the 6th grade, and my boobs were awkward for me until I realized everyone likes them. Now I'm happy with them just the way they are!

Do you cam from your house or from a studio? What are the pros and cons from each method?

pumpkinspicebread20 karma

I cam from home. Studios are almost always a scam. The only reason to cam from a studio would be if you couldn't cam from home, in my opinion. Studios take a massive cut from your profits and aren't worth it. You'd be better off camming from home with a shitty setup for a month and saving enough to upgrade yourself the next month.

The_Collector46 karma

Thanks for the reply. I figured they would take a rather unfair percentage.

pumpkinspicebread13 karma

The sites themselves already take a significant chunk. Most studios don't actually even provide a camming area for their clients. They take a big chunk out of their earnings and use it for "marketing." It's almost always a scam, and I feel bad for people who fall for it because they don't know any better. If you're using a quality website to begin with, you don't need extra marketing.

Xenokaos6 karma

What won't you do?

Sorry if this was asked, on mobile.

pumpkinspicebread14 karma

No problem! I won't do a lot of things, including anal. I do like to try new things, but I won't on cam if I'm not sure.

Xenokaos5 karma

Do you think refusing anal has impacted your earnings or are people quick to request something else?

pumpkinspicebread9 karma

Some people leave right away but overall I don't think it has made a big difference.

Can you offer any starting advice to a couple starting to get into it? What sites do you use?

pumpkinspicebread13 karma

I use Streamate, but I have no experience with camming as a couple. Try the stripperweb forum! People there might have some more insight.

Anarchyr4 karma

Biggest question here, what is your In game League name?

And any chance we can ever DuoQ? ;)

pumpkinspicebread49 karma

I made a new account just to play with reddit! My summoner name is PumpkinSpiceBrea because the D didn't fit.

I really wanted that D.

What do you think of JAVA? Please tell me you think it's bad, please!

pumpkinspicebread4 karma

But I like Java....

shaedys1 karma

But you have to write so much overhead to get anything done. Python can be so much more compact

pumpkinspicebread2 karma

I never said it was the best, I just enjoy it ;)

What is the ratio of your interocular distance to your waist circumference? Preferably in metric.

You have a really weird fetish, my friend. I'm not sticking any ruler in my eyeball to find out for you.

  • what makes you any different from any other prostitute, online or off? a deformity? a fetish? a gimmick? anything?

  • you say the "surge of confidence" you got from the gonewild community lead you to taking your clothes off for money; are you saying that prior to discovering reddit, you did not know how positive the reaction of the internet would be to any woman taking her clothes off?

  • you mention how much more money you are making now.

are you honestly telling us you had no idea that it's easier and more lucrative to be a prostitute than hold a more conventional job?

  • you mention "supportive" everywhere. are you very ashamed of what you do? do you need the constant validation of people around you to prevent you from curling up foetal?

pumpkinspicebread31 karma

Do you have an issue with sex workers? If so, I encourage you to ask direct questions instead of loaded ones. I'm happy to address any real concerns you might have!

what makes you any different from any other prostitute, online or off? a deformity? a fetish? a gimmick? anything?

A few things! First of all, a prostitute is a person who provides actual sex to the client in exchange for money or goods. This is not what I do, though I understand that it seems like a minor distinction to many people. A stripper is a person who is usually offline with skills in dancing and taking off their clothes in an erotic/sensual way. A stripper might also be a prostitute! A camgirl is the most common term for an online stripper. Camgirls usually perform the same types of acts that a stripper does, and then more explicit ones. Camgirls often, but not always, use toys and masturbation. A porn star is not the same as a cam worker, but someone could be both. A porn star is someone who has sex with someone else in front of a camera, where both people are paid for the sex by someone else.

I hope that clears up a few things! Usually it is best to just say "sex worker" if you aren't sure of the person's specialty. In the world of camming, I stand out because I have a higher than standard quality webcam. I also really enjoy chatting with my clients, even when I'm in free chat. A lot of cam girls have an obvious and pushy attitude about only being there for money. I try to just have a good time. The clients are people too! I'm not all that different from a lot of pussy out there, and I'm certainly not the best, but paying customers keep cumming (pun intended) back for more, and that's good enough for me!

you say the "surge of confidence" you got from the gonewild community lead you to taking your clothes off for money; are you saying that prior to discovering reddit, you did not know how positive the reaction of the internet would be to any woman taking her clothes off?

A lot of women on the internet are not as popular as I was lucky to be. I also had some self esteem issues prior to the positive reaction I received. A lot of media promotes an unhealthily thin image for models and porn stars, and I wasn't aware that camming was a popular activity. Suggesting that just "any woman" can take her clothes off and be successful is an insult to people who look at pornography. Implying that people don't have standards is an excellent way to receive a negative reaction from them.

you mention how much more money you are making now. are you honestly telling us you had no idea that it's easier and more lucrative to be a prostitute than hold a more conventional job?

If I was a prostitute, I would be making a lot more than I am even now. I've never had any interest in being a prostitute because of the risks associated with it. Wen STIs aren't real, rape doesn't happen, and getting drugged isn't a danger, I might consider it. Until then, I live in the real world, where risk/reward assessment is crucial to being a successful human being. I wasn't aware that camming was an industry until recently, and as soon as I heard about it, I was interested.

you mention "supportive" everywhere. are you very ashamed of what you do? do you need the constant validation of people around you to prevent you from curling up foetal?

I am not ashamed of what I do, but I'm also not ignorant of how hostile other people can be if they don't share the same views as I do. My boyfriend's support is critical to me because his well being is very important. If he wasn't supportive, he wouldn't be happy, and for me, that is an unacceptable trade-off. Having support from your peer group is always important. Human beings are social animals, as evident by the suicide rates among socially rejected adolescents. I don't need their validation, but people in the AMA are likely interested in why I am so happy with what I do.
